BioFirst things first....
New start, new journal. Yay! Let's see, my name's Alli, aka Allio (one of the 2 famous Allio's, coincidental but amazingly cool!) and I'm 17. I live in Westbrook, a little Connecticut shoreline town that no one really cares about. Oh wait, except for the summer people who crowd our streets, beaches, and resturants making our lives a living hell for 2 and 1/2 months. But I love it. My 2nd home is in Madison at the Sacco residence where I spend every second of my life, and love it. I'm with Ari and Janine 24/7.
I absolutely live for shows. I love being a groupie! Haha. Ska shows are the best and those are the moments in time where I can allow my true skanking abilities to shine through as I become one with the sweet, sweet tunes blaring from guitars, drums, and amazing horn sections. But it doesn't stop at the ska shows my friend. Oh no, limiting oneself to only one type of music is bad for the soul, so I make sure to attend many PencilGrass shows (a funk, ska, beach music fusion) and some rock (These Green Eyes - Fabulousness) and of course a little punkish rock (The Teles) and maybe even a little emo (Doozer. 'nuf said) I've been known to chill with bands in their massive 15 person vans and dance front row to every flamingos show I attend, which is most all of them. Arianna and I rally the scene so hard it hurts. We know the meaning of "hittin up the local scene"
But enough about music. On to my thoughts about my journal.
My journal entries are long and quite opinionated. I feel that my journal is a place where I can freely speak my mind on any matter I want. Whether it be just explaining in great detail about my day, even though it may be boring, or talking about my latest crush. I've been known to do way too many surveys and sometimes post very long entries and pictures with a lack of lj cuts. So basically if you have a problem with my long, and sometimes boring, journal entries than feel free to take me off of your friends list. I dont mind, really.
I also love comments and leaving comments, so if I go through and comment on the stuff you did, do NOT be alarmed. I'm not stalking you, I just think what you're writing about it uber-interesting and want to let you know my views and input on it. Another problem with being opinionated ::sigh:: Oh well..
Okay a little more about me. Let's see.. Im a blonde and I LOVE it. Seriously I live for it and absolutely fiend shirts that say "Blondes have more fun" and especially the "blondes do it better" :P
